BrainTest® is the same kind of cognitive screening instrument that you’d be given at a doctor’s office, but one that’s uniquely designed to detect early stage changes in cognition associated with Alzheimer’s Disease, Dementia, and Mild Cognitive Impairment.
BrainTest can be taken in the privacy and comfort of your own home, and anonymously scored at our centralized core-lab. Results videos are delivered inside the application and feature an explanation of your score from a Board Certified Physician.
BrainTest is an assessment, and not a diagnostic test, which is why results can be easily printed and taken to your doctor to help start the conversation about your brain health.
BrainTest is based on the Self-administered Gerocognitive Examination (SAGE), a brief cognitive assessment for mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and early dementia, created by Dr. Douglas Scharre, Professor of Clinical Neurology and Psychiatry at The Ohio State University's Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. SAGE was validated in the setting of mild cognitive impairment, and has subsequently been adopted in numerous clinical settings.
BrainTest has been built through a rare collaboration between some of the world’s leading Alzheimer’s researchers, and seasoned programmers, designers, and data scientists from the mobile content industry. Our goal is to bring to market a mobile application that's both scientifically-validated, and consumer friendly.
